Sobakino (Kasimovsky district)

Sobakino ( Tat. Subak ) is a settlement in the Kasimovsky district of the Ryazan region . Currently non-residential, Tatars previously lived. It belonged to the Kara Aimak group of settlements of the Kasimov Tatars .

History

According to the pre-revolutionary administrative division, the village of Sobakino belonged to the Tatar volost of the Kasimovsky district of the Ryazan province . The population in 1862 was 233 people.

Mosque

In 1862 , a mosque was already in the village. In con. XIX century residents of the villages of Kazakova , Machkova , Tankacheva , Akhmatova (a total of 632 people) also belonged to the arrival of the mosque. Imams of Kandrakov .

The exact date of construction of the mosque is unknown. The year of construction of the mosque is indicated in the register of parishes and clergy - 1882 , referring possibly to a stone building. The stone building of the mosque with an octagonal minaret has survived to the present in the form of ruins. Now it is a fragmentary preserved stone basement with a scattering of bricks nearby, traces of a mihrab niche are still traced [1] [2] . Monument of architecture of the Ryazan region (decision of the Ryazoblispolcom of 08/27/1971 No. 250). The area of ​​the monument with a protected area is 0.38 ha [3] .
