History
For the first time the village, like Skirrov , was mentioned in 1400, the name Gros Schirrau was fixed in the second half of the XVIII century. In 1902 a church parish was formed, on December 21, 1909 a new church was consecrated. As the front approached during World War II, on January 20, 1945, the population left Schirrau. On January 22, 1945, Gross Schirrau was captured by soldiers of the 5th Guards Division of the 8th Guards Corps of the 11th Guards Army of the 3rd Belorussian Front.
In 1946, Gross Schirrau was renamed the village of Dalnee. [3]
