TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs (2013)

Tables, Ladders & Chairs is a WWE pay-per-view show in which wrestlers participate in various fiudas and storylines . Wrestlers personify villains or heroes in the ring. The fyudas pass in such a way that at first, on ordinary episodes, the situation is heating up, and already at the wrestling holidays themselves, this or that feud usually approaches its logical conclusion. ^{[1] [2]}

The basis of this PPV will be matches with tables, ladders and chairs. In the match with the tables, the wrestler needs to break the table with his opponent; in a match with ladders, the wrestler needs to climb the ladder and remove the championship belt or some kind of contract. Usually, a match for the WWE championship is put right into the match with tables, ladders and chairs, where the wrestler needs to climb the ladder and pick up a belt or keep his opponent.

Tickets for this show went on sale at the end of September 2013.

November 21, 2013 on the official website of WWE was presented a poster for this show. It shows a bouquet of flowers on the left, and a bouquet of tables, stairs and chairs on the right (see right).

It was announced on RAW on December 9 that on the PPV in the panel of discussions there would be Meese and two WWE Hall of Fame members - Booker T. and Mick Foley .

On PPV Hell in a Cell, John Cena defeated heavyweight world champion Alberto Del Rio and became the new champion, and Randy Orton defeated Daniel Brian in the match “Hell in a Cage” with special referee Shawn Michaels and also became the new champion. Almost a month later, on the Survivor Series, Sina defeated Del Rio again in a rematch, and Orton defended his title from the Big Show . After this match, John Cena came out and conditionally threw Randy a call to fight for their titles, but Orton said nothing. At the next RAW, John offered Orton a fight to unify titles right now. Stephanie McMan and Triple H were against it and Stephanie announced that the match between Cina and Orton for the unification of titles will take place, but not today, but on PPV TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs and it will be with tables, ladders and chairs. The winner becomes the undisputed champion of WWE . That same evening, John Cena, along with the Big Show, fought against Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio. The faces won them several times in massive team matches, together with the team champions WWE defeated Shield against the Family, as well as once Harper in single matches. At PPV Survivor Series, Punk and Bryan were able to defeat Wyatt members Luke Harper and Eric Rowan. On the next release of the RAW, the Shield attacked CM Punk after his match, along with Brian against the Wyatt Family, and held him in the ring with the Triple Powerbomb, and the Dreadful Family kidnapped Brian - Eric Rowan took him backstage on his shoulders. A week later, on RAW CM, Punk criticized the WWE COO Player. Also on this RAW, Brian defeated Eric Rowan, after which another Handicap TLC match was awarded between Daniel Brian and the Wyatt Family. The same evening it was announced that the next SmackDown SM Punk will fight with one of the participants of the Shield. On the next release of SmackDown there was a match between Punk and Dean Ambrows, in which the “Best in the World” won. On the same evening, Brian fought in the main event against Randy Orton. During the match, Rowan and Harper stepped onto the ramp, to which Daniel got distracted and received RKO from Orton, after which he was withheld. After that, Bray Wyatt appeared on the titantrone and invited Brian to join them, otherwise they would make him ill.

On November 18, RAW Big Y Langston defeated WWE intercontinental champion Curtis Axel and became the new champion. A rematch between them for the same title took place on the Survivor Series , the winner from which Big I re-emerged. On December 2, RAW hosted a match between Damien Sandow and Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Intercontinental Champion title. The victory was won by Sandow and thus on TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs will take place the match between Big And Langston and Damin Sandow for the title of intercontinental WWE champion. On the next SmackDown, Langston defeated Fandango , while Sandow sat in the commentary chair and commented on this match. During the Big I's postgame celebration, Sandow himself walked into the ring and told Langston something about two weeks, after which he left.

On the Survivor Series a team match of 7x7 knockout took place. The last were champion divas AJ and Natalia . Last closed the champion in the "Sniper" and she had to surrender. The next RAW hosted a rematch of all these divas by the same rules. The Total Divas won again, and during the match, AJ destroyed Natalia. A week later, at RAW, Natalya, along with Twins Bell ( Bree and Nikki Bell ), defeated AJ, her assistant Tamina and Summer Ray . After that, it was announced that at the nearest PPV TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, AJ will defend his title against Natalia. On the next SmackDown, Natalia defeated Tamina Snook.

On the Survivor Series, Real Americans ( Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro ) and Shield defeated WWE Team Rogues Team Champions ( Cody Rhodes and Goldust ), Uso Brothers (Jimmy and Jay) and Ray Mysterio in a 5x5 team match. On the next release of the RAW, the Rhodes and Mysterio lost to Shield after “Headlock Driver” by Dean Ambrose. At the release of the Main Event show, Goldust defeated Rybek by disqualification, after interference with Curtis Axel's team-mate of the Big Guy. After this, Cody conducted Красив Beautiful Disaster ’. On December 9, at the RAW Slammy Awards, the Brothers Rhodes, Big Show and Rey Mysterio defeated Rybek, Curtis Axel and Real Americans after “619” from Mysterio on Axel. On 9 December, a match was assigned to RAW at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs Kickoff , in which Dolph Ziggler will confront Fandango .

Pre-show

At Kikoff, as mentioned earlier, the match took place between Dolph Ziggler and Fandango, in which the dancer won victories. In the panel of discussions were Josh Mettius, Meese , Booker T. and Mick Foley . Before the match, Miza was attacked by Kofi Kingston , as a result of which they were assigned to the main show according to the rules without disqualification.

Main show

Opened PPV Triple-H and Stephanie McMan, who greeted the audience and talked a little about the current show.

The first match in the main part of the show was an unequal 3 on 1 fight between Shield and SM Punk. Started the match Dean Ambrose and, of course, SM Punk. The latter dominated the Shield member, after which he passed the baton to Seth Rollins and the forces became equal. After that, Big And Langston successfully defended his Intercontinental Champion title from Damien Sandow after Big Ending.

The Brothers Rhodes defended their titles in the four-sided team knockout game from Rybek and Curtis Axel, Real Americans and the Big Show and Ray Mysterio. The first team was dropped by Rybeck and Axel after Goldust on Rybeke, the second - the Americans team after KO Pancha from the Big Show on Antonio Cesaro and the third - the team of Ray Mysterio and the Big Show after Cross Rhodes from Cody Rhodes on Misterio. After the match, all the faces helped Rai to his feet and thanked him for a good match.

The fifth was the match between R-Truth and Broadus Clay , in which the latter won. During the match between Clay and his team partner Tenseem , a conflict ensued, after which the Japanese left the arena, and with it Fankadaktelshi ( Naomi and Cameron ).

Then the match took place without disqualifications between Kofi Kingston and Miz, who was nominated for the Kikoff show. Victory in this match was won by Kingston.

After that, the second Handicap match took place on the show between Daniel Bryan and Family Wyatt. For the whole match, Brian tried to cheat several times, but he didn’t succeed and Bray Wyatt held Sister Abigail for him, and then successfully held him back.

The main event of TLC was the match with tables, ladders and chairs for combining the two main champions of the company between WWE champion Randy Orton and world heavyweight champion John Cena. During the match, wrestlers often used tables, stairs and chairs. At the end of the match, Orton broke Sina’s table, handcuffed John Sin to the column, and then easily took two titles using a ladder. After the match, Triple-H, Stephanie McMahn and Mr. McMahon came to the ring to congratulate the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion (now the combined championship title is now called).

Fatal Four Way Shooting Team Match

At the next RAW, the coronation of the new World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton was crowned. This holiday was interrupted by Daniel Bryan, after which a match was appointed to the main event of this show between Brian and Orton. Daniel was disqualified in this match because Randy hit him in the groin. After that, John Cena ran out into the ring and threw out the Champions' Champion, but while he looked at Brian’s condition, Orton entered the ring and conducted Cine RKO.

On the same show, a rematch with TLC Kickoff took place between Dolph Ziggler and Fandango, in which the latter won again. The Big Show and Ray Mysterio defeated the Rhodes Brothers in a non-title match. And SM Punk, together with the Brothers Uso, lost to Shield.
