Biography
Club
He started playing football in the city of Ploce, as part of the Jadran team. In 1978, he made his debut in the main team of the split “Hadjuk”, having played only 206 matches and scored 34 goals. He became the last Hajduk player to score at the club’s old stadium: it happened on September 5, 1979 in the match against Dynamo from Zagreb [2] . From 1983 to 1985, he played for the bridge "Velezh", completed his career in the German "Rot-Weiss" from Oberhausen.
In the national team
In the national team of Yugoslavia played 7 games and scored one goal against Romania . Won the Mediterranean Games in 1979, with the team became the 4th at the Olympic Games in Moscow.
Career Coach
He coached such teams as his first club “Jadran” from Ploce [3] , “Trogir” [4] and “Tirana”, in which he previously worked as an assistant to Blazh Slyshkovich [5] . In Split “Hajduk” he held the position of assistant coach, then youth coach [6] : his youth team won the 2011 Karol Wojtyla Cup, winning the final against the Italian youth Roma 4: 1 [7] . The head coach of Hajduk was thanks to the help of Krasimir Balakov .
