Ust-Syda (Khak. Siy Piltipi) is a village that does not exist now in the Krasnoturansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory .

History
It was formed as a memorial in the second half of the 18th century on the right bank of the Syda River, 2 km from its confluence with the Yenisei by a Cossack Abakan fortress Krapivin. Zaimka became known as “Krapivinskaya”. Gradually zaimka grew and became known as the village of Krapivino. Subsequently, the village began to wear the name "Ust-Sydinsk."
According to the revision of 1794, the following inhabitants were listed in the village: Vakulin 7 souls, Baikal 16 souls, Mosin 4 souls, Bernyatskaya 2 souls, Gusev 5 souls, Shadrin 7 souls, Goloshchapov 9 souls. According to the census of the population of the Abakan parish of 1850, the following names appear in the village: Vakulin, Baikalov, Mosin, Baznitsky, Gusev, Shadrin, Kovalev, Vaikin, Goloshchapov, Obednin, Zakharov, Karpov, Sidorov, Nikitin, Chumachenko, Konoshin, Grebenshchikov, Petrov, Tkachenko [1] . By the middle of the 19th century, there were 44 courtyards and 301 inhabitants in the village. According to the results of the 1927 census, there were 159 farms with 848 inhabitants in the village.
The village was on a flat terrain. Bad log divided the village into two parts.
Balandina opened a school in the village. In 1907, as an elementary school teacher, began his teaching activities 19-year-old Peter Ivanovich Kabanov , Russian historian, doctor of historical sciences, professor. He arrived in Ust-Sdyu on a tarantass, on the back of which was a wooden box with books and other educational accessories. For the school was found more spacious hut of the two halves. To recruit students had to go to the hut of the village and talk about the benefits of teaching.
In 1928 the Krapivinsky Village Council was created. In 1931, it was renamed the village of Ust-Sida, and the Krapivinsky Village Council became known as Ust-Sydinsky. In the same year, the village council entered the village of Uniuk . During the period of collectivization, two artels were formed: "12 years of October" and "them. Voroshilov ”, which subsequently merged into one collective farm“ 12 years of October ”(the area under grain crops for 1935 is 1,592 hectares).
A bridge over the Syda River was built near the village. It was called "Beloyarsky". It was a unique on that time bridge on hardwood piles, connecting the right bank of the Syda with the left.
In 1965, the settlement ceased to exist due to the construction of the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Plant and was moved to the hill where the village of Novaya Syda was formed [2] .
