The sources of Korkoles are located in the municipality of El Bonillo at an altitude of 1041 m. The river flows through the provinces of Albacete and Ciudad Real , and then flows into the Sankara River at an altitude of 850 m.
The average annual water consumption is only 0.3 m³ / s, but nevertheless, several destructive floods are known in history . [one]
In the lower reaches of the 50 km segment, 17 water mills were built .
Interestingly, just a few kilometers away is the source of the Lesusa River, which belongs to the Hukar basin, which flows into the Mediterranean Sea .
