Yuri Vadimovich Zabolev (born May 28, 1954 , Yakutsk , Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Russian politician, head of the administration of the municipal entity "City District" City of Yakutsk "from December 2, 2007 to December 23, 2011 . Member of the United Russia Party.

Biography
Born May 28, 1954 in Yakutsk . In 1974 he graduated from the Riga Flight Technical School of Civil Aviation, in 1982 the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers . In 1989 he graduated from the Khabarovsk Higher Party School, in 2007 - from the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation with a degree in State and Municipal Administration. He worked at the Yakutsk Civil Aviation Administration of the USSR Civil Aviation Administration, then became deputy commander of the flight detachment of the Nyurba OAO. He worked in the Yakutsk city committee, and later in the Oktyabrsky district committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. He served in the civil service in the administration of the first President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Mikhail Nikolaev as deputy head of the presidential administration. From 1991 to 1994, Zabolev worked as deputy head of the Construction Department of Vilyuygesstroy, and from 1994 to 1997, he was the chief engineer of AOOT / OAO Yakutsk-Lada. In 1997, he assumed the post of Deputy General Director of OJSC Yakutsk Dairy Plant, and later took over the management of the organization. By a decree of the President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in 1998, Yuri Vadimovich Zabolev was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of the National Economy of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)."
In 2003, he was elected People's Deputy of the State Assembly ( Il Tumen ) of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the Tuymadin constituency and became the first deputy chairman of Il Tumen [1] . On December 2, 2007, at the election of the heads of municipalities, he was elected head of the administration of the municipal formation "City District" City of Yakutsk ". In December 2012, Zabolev resigned from his post as head of Yakutsk, in connection with the appointment of the first deputy permanent representative of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in Moscow [2] .
