“A rectangular double-sided red cloth with a width-to-length ratio of 2: 3, in the center of which a yellow bell is depicted, accompanied by four yellow horns on the straps at the corners, deployed to the edges of the cloth and four white stirrups in the middle of each edge.”
Symbolization Justification
The history of the Pervomaisky soviet is leading from the inn, which stood on the Astrakhan highway. It was a resting place for drivers and travelers. In 1831, the village is mentioned under the name Novinsky taverns. In 1866, the Bogoyavlensk railway station was opened here on the Ryazhsk - Kozlov line (now Michurinsk ). When it began to grow the village of Epiphany. In 1888, the Church of the Most Holy Theotokos was built (still preserved).
The symbolism of the May Day soviet flag reflects its history:
- stirrups and postal horns (in tsarist Russia, the emblem of the post was a yamschitsky horn, which was blown into, approaching the postal station, with the aim of quickly changing horses) - symbolizes the initial period of formation of the modern village;
- the bell is a symbol of the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and the Temple of St. Sergius of Radonezh, located in the settlement, which indicates the high spirituality of the inhabitants of the settlement;
- the red color of the cloth and the bell in the center are similar to the color and the main figure of the Pervomaisky region flag , which symbolizes the close connection of the two municipalities. Red color is figuratively associated with the May Day holiday (with red flags and banners), which allegorically indicates the name of the settlement.
Red color is a symbol of labor, courage, life-affirming power, beauty and celebration.
Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of the highest value, grandeur, wealth, harvest.
White ( silver ) is a symbol of purity, openness, divine wisdom, reconciliation.
