He started learning to play the harp at the age of seven, from 1958 he continued his studies in Bucharest , in 1971 he graduated from the National University of Music in the class of Liana Pasquali . Later he improved his skills in New York under the direction of Pearl Chertok . In 1976, he won the International Harp Competition in Israel .

For many years, the solo harpist of the Bucharest Philharmonic Orchestra . As a soloist, he recorded a number of major works from the harp repertoire, from concerts by Francois Bualdieu and Johann Albrechtsberger to Claude Debussy's plays.

Winner of a number of Romanian and international professional awards. In 2009 he was awarded the degree of doctor of music .
