Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists is an American drama television series created by A. Marlene King and based on the novel “Perfectionists” by Sarah Shepard . The series is the second spin-off of the television series " Pretty Little Liars ." The series premiered on March 20, 2019.

Content
Story
The action of the series is developing in the city of Bacon Heights, where everything seems perfect; the plot revolves around three young students who plot the murder of Nolan Hotchkiss, the womanizer who used all three. Although they never put their plan into action, they soon find Hotchkiss dead, and he was killed in strict accordance with the plans of the girls, who become the main suspects in the murder. Now they must find out who killed him and why [4] .

Production
The series was officially commissioned on September 25, 2017.
Casting
On September 25, 2017, it was announced that Sasha Peters and Janel Parrish would reprise their roles from “ Pretty Little Liars ” - Alison Dilaurentis and Mona Vandervol [1] . On January 29, 2018, it became known that Sofia Carson received the role of Ava, one of the main characters in the television series [15] .
Filming
January 23, 2018 it became known that the shooting will take place in Portland , Oregon [3] [16] .
