Biography

Tseplovich Shakhna was born in Pastavy in the family of the milkman Sholom Leib Tseplovich. [1] Received a traditional Jewish education in Vilna . Actively participated in the Zionist movement.

In 1924 he emigrated to Eretz Yisrael . In 1931 he opened the trading house and publishing house “Ahiasaf” in Jerusalem , which are still operating today. The publishing house is engaged in the production of directories, textbooks, dictionaries, guides, children's literature, etc.
