The name of the station comes from the village of Eganovo , two kilometers to the north-east. Also at the station is the village of Novoeganovo (until 2003 it was called the village of the station of Yaganovo).

There are two low platforms at the station. The first is the southern side, on the side of the station building, for four and a half wagons. The second is an island, with six cars. There are two ways between platforms. The transition is only on the flooring in the eastern part of the platforms, when the freight train stops, it can be blocked.

Traffic from the station is possible in three directions:

  • On the ring to the west: to Mikhnevo and further
  • Round the east: through Nepetsino to Voskresensk and beyond
  • By branching from the ring to the southwest - to Zhilevo (single-track branch)

The Big Ring section is served by electric trains at the Domodedovo Paveletsky depot. Earlier (in the 90s) several pairs of electric trains from the Aprelevka depot of the Kiev direction also reached Yaganov.

  • In the direction of Mikhnev, you can get to Mikhnev (4-5 trains a day there, 3 back), Detkova (2 trains a day there, 1-2 back), Stolbova (1 train per day there on weekends), Sandarova (the farthest station , 1 train per day back). For 3-5 pairs, Yaganovo is final. Until the mid-90s, some trains could also get to / from Akulov and Kubinka-2 .
  • In the direction of Voskresensk you can get to / from Kurovskaya (the farthest station, 3 pairs per day) and to / from Nepetsin (1 pair per day).
  • To the station Zhilevo - 2 trains a day there, 3 back. For one pair, Yaganovo is finite.
  • Two “direct” pairs of electric trains also operate on the summer weekend of Moscow-Pass.-Paveletskaya -Yaganovo (via Mikhnevo). Yaganovo is the last station of the Big Ring, which can be reached from the Paveletsky Station directly.

History

Initially, the 23 km stopping point was opened in 1951 [3] on the single-track section Zhilevo - Voskresensk. This is related to the remaining mileage from that time from Zhilyov and then through Voskresensk to Orekhov-Zuev.

During the reconstruction and electrification of the ring, straightening was carried out - a double-track section from Art. Mikhnevo with overpass and interchange to the west. On the spot in 1973, a new nodal station Yaganovo was opened. The second path was built further to Voskresensk, and the section from Zhilyov remained single-track, turning into a branch from the ring. The mileage count in the new section from Mikhnev, as in the entire western half-ring, goes from Alexandrov, and Yaganovo is the last reference point (345.2 km).
