Nikolo-Khovanskoe

Nikolo-Khovanskoe is a village in the Novomoskovsk administrative district of Moscow (until July 1, 2012, it was part of the Leninsky district of the Moscow region ). Part of the settlement Sosenskoe .

According to the All-Russian Census , in 2002, 109 people lived in the village (46 men and 63 women) [6] .

Geography

The village of Nikolo-Khovanskoe is located in the northeastern part of the Novomoskovsk administrative district, about 20 km south-west of the center of Moscow and 6 km east of the center of Moscow on the river Sosenka of the Pakhra basin.

Kalugskoye Highway A130 passes 2 km south-east of the village, 4 km north is Kiev M3 highway, 3 km north-east is the Moscow ring road , 8 km north is the Kiev railway line of the Moscow Railway .

In the village one street - Nikolo-Khovanskaya [8] . The nearest settlements are the villages of Mamyri and Prokshino .

History

In the "List of populated areas" of 1862 - the owner's village of the 1st camp of Podolsky district of the Moscow province on the right side of the Old Cateral Road, 20 versts from the county city and 35 versts from the stanovoy apartment, with the Sosenka river and ponds, with 29 courtyards and 240 inhabitants (120 men, 120 women) [2] .

According to 1890, the village of Desenskoye volost, Podolsky district, with 319 inhabitants [3] .

In 1913, there were 65 courtyards, a zemstvo school, and the estate of Baroness Sheping [9] .

According to the materials of the All-Union census of 1926 - the center of Nikolsko-Khovansky village council of the Desensky volost, Podolsk district, 1.1 km from the Kaluga highway and 10.7 km from the Vnukovo station of the Kiev-Voronezh railway, 353 inhabitants lived (151 men, 202 women), there were 72 peasant farms, a state farm was organized, a school worked [5] .

From 1929 to 2012 - Settlement of the Moscow region as part of the Krasno-Pakhorsk district (1929–1946); Kalininsky District (1946-1957); Leninsky district (1957–1960, 1965–2012); Ulyanovsk District (1960-1963); Leninsky enlarged rural area (1963-1965) [10] .

Since 2012 - as part of the city of Moscow.

Attractions

Near the village is the Khovanskoe cemetery with the Church of St. John the Baptist [11] , as well as the chapels of the Icon of the Mother of God Vladimir [12] , Marina the Venerable [13] and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker [14] . The largest dump in Europe also functioned here. [15] [16]
