The origins are located at an altitude of 1030 m near El Bonillo , Lesus fully flows through the territory of the municipality of Lesus in the province of Albacete . It flows into Khukar at an altitude of 830 m, it is one of its highest tributaries. The river has practically no own tributaries, with the exception of a few streams, which, along with a long dry season, is the reason for the low water consumption (about 0.2 m³ / s).
There are several water mills on the river.
Interestingly, just a few kilometers away is the source of the Corcoles River, which belongs to the Guadiana Basin, which flows into the Cadiz Bay of the Atlantic Ocean .
