Game Review
The hero of the game is a guy named Harry Pitfall, Jr. ( born Pitfall Harry, Jr. ), who is looking for his father (the hero of the previous game in the series).
The game is a platformer with a side side-scrolling leg and two-dimensional graphics .
The gameplay is approximately as follows. The character moves around locations and destroys enemies; the goal of the game is to go through all the levels in order to free the father (the main character of the original Pitfall!). The game consists of thirteen levels (among them - the jungle, waterfall, desert, etc.).
The enemies in the game are snakes, monkeys, crocodiles and other inhabitants of the jungle; often in the way of the character there are various traps (for example, quicksand). At the end of the levels are the bosses - especially strong opponents; their health level is displayed by a special indicator.
There are quite a lot of useful items at the levels: stones allow you to successfully fight enemies, watches slow down time, the heart increases health, the image of Harry gives an extra life, etc .; save points are also present.
Despite the similar gameplay, the game is distinguished from the previous part by more perfect graphics, as well as a greater variety of levels, an increased number of enemies and useful items.
