Townley, William

William (Billy) Townley ( English William "Billy" Townley ; February 14, 1866 , Lancashire , England - May 30, 1950 , Blackpool , England) - English footballer and football coach. He played in such teams as Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City , coached such teams as Bayern (Munich) , Greuther , Eintracht (Frankfurt) . He was the author of the first hat-trick in the history of the FA Cup finals. Townley’s main legacy is pioneering as an English coach in Germany, as well as a large number of clubs under his mentorship.
