The Spanish Basketball Championship 2012/2013 was the 50th season of the LSE ( Spanish Liga Femenina de Baloncesto ), Spain ’s top women's basketball division. The champion of Spain for the third time was the club from Salamanca , Perfumerias Avenida .

Rules
The tournament is held in two stages
1) regular season - 11 teams from October 13, 2012 to March 30, 2013 play among themselves in a round-robin system at home and away.
2) playoffs - the six best teams of the “regular season” form the grid, starting from the quarter finals.
Members
Before the start of the tournament, last year's Valencian champion “Ros Casares” was disbanded for financial reasons, “Mann Filter” from Zaragoza , “Soller Bon Diya” from Soller and “Palacio de Congresos Ibiza” from Ibiza suffered the same fate.
