Shraga Goren ( Heb. שרגא גורן ; born Gorokhovsky - Hebrew. ורוחובסקי ; born in 1898 , Makarov , Kiev Province , Russian Empire - June 12, 1972 , Israel ) - Israeli politician, member of the 1st Knesset convocation .

Biography
Shraga Gorokhovsky was born in 1898 , in the town of Makarov , the Russian Empire (now Ukraine ). Shraga was born in the family of Aron Gorokhovsky , and his wife, Hai-Sara Berman .
He received a traditional education, first he studied in the cheder , and then in high school in Kiev . Participated in the Tseirey Zion movement since 1913 . In 1914, he became one of the participants of the Zionist movement " At Livnot " ( Heb. עת לבנות - Time to build ).
He became one of the founders of the movement " Dror " in 1917 . He married in 1920 .
Immigrated to Mandatory Palestine in 1921 .
Goren's articles were published in Dawar and ha-Poel ha-tzair.
Shraga Goren was elected one of the delegates to the 20th Zionist Congress in Zurich .
He was elected to the Knesset of the 1st convocation of the party " Mapa ", he worked in the commission on economics and the commission on labor.
He died at the age of 74 years.
