History
The exact date of construction of the temple is not known. On the crossbar above the atrium, 1778 is indicated. However, the design features of the temple suggest that the church was built at the end of the XV - beginning of the XVII century and therefore the number "1778" indicates only a possible repair or restoration in a given year. The exact dates of the repair of the temple, which were made in 1893 and 1930, are known. The iconostasis dates from 1835.
Since 1971, the church was renamed the Church of St. Maximilian Kolbe and since 2004 it has been a branch of the parish of St. Maximilian Kolbe in Krempna.
On January 31, 1985, the church was included in the register of protected monuments of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship.
