Flag of Yagelny

“A rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, divided into blue and white parts of a wave-like strip ascending from the shaft with a total width of 1/10 of the width of the panel, divided into two equal stripes - white and blue. The heraldic description of the coat of arms reads: “ In the azure and silver field, divided by a narrow wavy left band, cut through by varying colors, in azure - emergingto the right and up the golden bezant; and above all there is a black capercaillie, flowing on a cedar branch of the same color, accompanied by a silver flame at the top right, and a azure snowflake at the bottom left . ” ^[five]

The Yagelny settlement arose during the construction of a compressor station on the Urengoy - Uzhgorod gas pipeline . Around the construction site, reindeer moss grew in abundance. So in 1983, on the map of the Nadym district, a village appeared with the romantic name Yagelny.

For over 20 years, an unofficial, well-established symbol of the village of Yagelny has been the image of a wood grouse, which was also used as a symbol of the Yagelny MPI MG, the city-forming enterprise of the village.

Capercaillie is a symbol of wisdom, prosperity and prosperity.

Blue snowflake on the white part of the banner - symbolizes the location of the village in the northern latitudes, with long winters, frosts and snowstorms.

The flame language is a symbol of blue fuel - gas, which is supplied to different regions of Russia and foreign countries by residents and workers of the Yagelny settlement.

The wavy belt is a symbol of the Left Hitt River , on which the village stands.

Blue color (light blue ) is a symbol of exalted aspirations, sincerity, devotion, rebirth.

White color ( silver ) is a symbol of purity, perfection, peace and mutual understanding; the color of the vast northern expanses.

Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of the highest value, greatness, magnanimity, wealth.

Black color symbolizes prudence, wisdom, modesty, honesty.

The first flag of the municipality, the village of Yagelny was approved on March 16, 2011 by the decision of the Assembly of Deputies of the municipality, the village of Yagelny No. 133. ^[6]

The flag was developed by the same team of authors as the current flag, and was:

“A rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, divided into blue and white parts by an ascending undulating strip with a total width of 1/10 of the width of the panel, divided into four stripes - white, blue, white and blue (in the ratio 2: 1: 1: 2); the middle line of the strip divides the edge of the shaft in the ratio of 13: 2, and the free edge in the ratio of 3: 7. "Images of figures from the coat of arms of the village, executed in yellow, black, blue and white colors, are reproduced on the canvas."

The heraldic description of the coat of arms read: “ In the azure-silver field, separated by a silver-azure left indirect belt, wavy and three times cut (inner belts are twice outer), in the azure - a golden bezant emerging from the belt; on top of the belt, above in gold, below in silver - a black capercaillie sitting on a cedar branch of the same color and flowing; everything is accompanied by a flame at the top right, partly in the color of the field, and silver on top and inside, and a azure snowflake on the bottom left . ” ^[7]

On September 19, 2012, in order to eliminate the comments of the Heraldic Council under the President of the Russian Federation , by decision of the Assembly of Deputies of the municipality, the village of Yagelny No. 180, a new (now existing) flag was approved. This decision applies to legal relations arising from July 1, 2012. ^[3]
