A kilogram-force meter (Russian designation: kgf · m ; international: kgf · m ) is a unit of energy and the work of the ICSCU system of units.
1 kgf · m - work performed by a force of 1 kgf when moving the point of application of this force to a distance of 1 meter in its direction.
1 kgf · m = 9.800665 J , 1 J = 0.101972 kgf · m.
The International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML), in its recommendations, refers the unit kilogram-force-meter to those units of measure “which should be withdrawn from circulation as soon as possible where they are currently used, and which should not be introduced if they are not are used ” [1] .
