IIHF Women's Ice Hockey World Championship 2013 in the I division - a sports ice hockey competition under the auspices of the IIHF , held from 2 to 8 January 2013 in Romanshorn , Switzerland . The team that won first place won the right to play in the TOP division of the 2014 World Cup [1] .

The national team of Switzerland came from the TOP-division , the national teams of France and Slovakia got to the championship through the qualifying tournament , the rest - from the last tournament of the first division .
