Karakashevo is a village in the Novomoskovsk administrative district of Moscow (until July 1, 2012 it was part of the Leninsky district of the Moscow region ). Included in the settlement of Voskresenskoye .

Geography
The village of Karakashevo is located in the eastern part of the Novomoskovsk administrative district, near the border with the Moscow region of South Butovo , about 27 km south-south-west from the center of Moscow and 12 km south-east from the center of Moscow , on the Tsyganka River of the Pakhra basin.
Kaluga A130 highway runs 4 km to the north-west of the village, Simferopol highway M2 is 8 km to the east, the Moscow Ring Road is 8 km to the north, and the Kursk line of the Moscow Railway is 5.5 km to the east. The nearest settlements are the village of the Voskresenskoye subsidiary farm , the villages of Gubkino and Yazovo .
History
The name of the village, presumably, came from the non-calendar personal name Caracas. [8]
In the βList of Populated Placesβ of 1862, there is a state village of the 1st camp of the Podolsky district of the Moscow province on the left side of the Old Kaluga tract, 16 versts from the county town and 31 versts from the flat, with wells, with 15 yards and 92 residents (41 men 51 women) [2] .
According to the data for 1899 - the village of Desenskaya volost of Podolsky district with 125 inhabitants, the apartment of Sotsky was located in the village [4] .

According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Census - the village of the Gubkinsky village council of the Desenskaya volost of the Podolsky district, 5.3 km from the Kaluga highway and 6.4 km from the Shcherbinka station of the Kursk railway, 115 residents lived (44 men, 71 women), there were 25 farms [5] .
