Street Leatherworking Warriors

The street has been named since the 18th century . Here, Nogais have been trading horses since the 15th century, and their skin was also made here ^[2] .

The name comes from a ravine ("enemy"), along the bottom of which flowed a small river Kozhevnichesky enemy, which flowed into the Moscow River . The river is 0.6 km long and is now enclosed in a reservoir ^[3] .

The street is located between Kozhevnicheskaya Street , the entrance to Novospassky Bridge , and Third Derbenevsky Lane . Along the way, it intersects with Derbenevskaya Street and Second Kozhevnichesky Lane .

At the beginning of the 20th century , the former First Assumption Lane, named after the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kozhevniki (built in 1724-1733, destroyed in 1933), was included in the street.

There are five buildings on this street, among which - one residential building.

There is a Novospassky Most stopping point on Kozhevnicheskaya Street, with buses, trams and minibuses running there. On Third Derbenevsky Lane there is a stop "Derbenevskaya" for buses and minibuses.
