Biography
O'Shea played as a defender . He played for the student basketball team of the University of Notre Dame " Notre Dame Fighting Irish ." In the NBA draft of the year 1950, he was selected by the Minneapolis Lakers club under a common 10 number. For three seasons in the NBA, he played in three different teams: Lakers, Milwaukee Hawks and Baltimore Bullits , gaining 5.2 points on average per game. He completed his professional career at the Wilkes-Barre Barons Club of the American Basketball League in 1953.
After leaving sports, O'Shea became a co-founder of an insurance company, where he worked until 1992.
