Armory

Orzheynaya or (Armory, Arms room, weapon storage) - a building or a room for weapons .

In the medieval castle there could be in the tower or next to it, it kept all the weapons and ammunition of the defenders of the castle (fortress), as well as gunpowder and charges for the artillery garrison. It could be used as an element of fortification ^[1] .

In the modern sense - the room for the storage of weapons , designed for the storage of small arms and ammunition units of the Armed Forces , MVD and other law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation , as well as other countries ^[2] .
