Kroshnosero ( Karelian. Nuosjärvi ) is an ancient Karelian village, the administrative center of the Kroshnosersky rural settlement of the Pryazha district of the Republic of Karelia .

General information
It is located on the southeastern shore of Lake Kroshnosero 76 km from Petrozavodsk . Located on the highway P21 ( Yarn - Lemetti ).
The village has a large fish farm for the artificial cultivation of trout .
History
It was first mentioned in the scribe book in 1563 as part of the Obonezhskaya Pyatina of the Novgorod feudal republic [2] .
During World War II, a concentration camp of Soviet prisoners of war was located on the territory of Kroshnoser [3] .
