Horns (film)

"Horns" ( born Horns ) is an American dark-fantasy thriller directed by Alexander Azh , a film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Joe Hill . Starring Daniel Radcliffe and Juneau Temple . The film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival on September 6, 2013. [2]

Content

Story

Ig Perrish lives in Gideon Bay in the northwestern United States. One day, he is accused of killing his lover - Merrin. Almost all residents, including their own parents, turn away from the young man. In despair, he commits an act of blasphemy, as a result of which horns grow up in Iga and paranormal abilities appear - in his presence people say what they think and do what they really dream of.

Creation

The main role was initially considered Shia Lababeu , but he was later replaced by Daniel Radcliffe . [6]

Filming began in late September 2012 in British Columbia . [7] Alexander Aza, explaining his initial interest in the project, said: "After reading the cult book of Joe Hill, I could not resist the temptation to plunge into the devilish underworld and invent a universal myth."
