Formation
Formed in the summer camps of the 1st brigade of the 3rd Grenadier Division in the city of Vladimir on the basis of the frame [1] allocated from the 9th Siberian Grenadier Regiment . To complement the regiment, 15 spare teams arrived from the Vladimir and Tambov provinces, as well as reserve officers [2] from the Vladimir province. On August 1, 1914, the regiment consisted of 57 officers and 4465 lower ranks.
