Life and career
Melody Ann Thomas was born in Los Angeles, California and debuted at the age of eight in the movie " Marnie " [1] . In the seventies, she starred in several films, such as The Most Accurate , Rage , and Piranha , before becoming an actress in soap operas.
In 1979, at the age of 23, Melody Thomas Scott began playing the role of stripper Nikki Reed in the daytime soap opera Young and the Insolent [2] . She has played this role for almost thirty-five years, to the present, however, she has never won a daily Emmy award , although she has been nominated for the award several times [3] . She also appeared on television in the TV series Walton , Charlie's Angels , Hotel , and Castle , and she also starred in several television films, mainly for Lifetime .
Melody Thomas Scott was married twice, she has three daughters from her second marriage [1] .
