Biography
George Satini was born on June 27, 1921 in Krasnoyarsk. In the late 1920s - early 1930s, the family moved to the village of Tyarlyovo near Leningrad, and then to Leningrad, where the future actor graduated from school No. 56 in 1938. After school, he worked as a turner at the Leningrad Kirovsky Plant , and then as a drillmaster in the geological exploration office “Formorazvedka”. In 1942, George Satini was mobilized and after graduating from the machine gun and mortar school, from 1943 he fought on the Leningrad Front . Was injured. He ended the war as a captain, after the war, before demobilization, he served as an assistant commandant of the 1st brigade of the NKVD troops for the protection of critical industrial enterprises.
In 1948 he graduated from the studio at the Leningrad Youth Theater, served as an artist of the Pskov Philharmonic. From 1949 to 1957 he played in the Leningrad Drama Theater . From 1957 until the end of his life he worked at the Lenfilm film studio. He made his film debut back in 1949 in the movie "Star", after switching to "Lenfilm" he began to act actively. He starred in three dozen films. He played mainly military and ordinary workers. Among his best works are roles in the films "Man with the Future", "After the Wedding", "Kings".
He filled all his stresses with alcohol , suffered that brought constant torment to his relatives. February 21, 1967 committed suicide by rushing under a train in the subway. He was buried in the Northern cemetery of Leningrad.
