The ship district (until February 19, 2016 - the Komsomol district [1] [2] ) is the administrative district of Kherson ( Ukraine ), formed in 1965 . Address of administration: 73000, Kherson, st. Suvorova, 29.

The number of inhabitants is 122,216, including the urban population of 115,119, the rural population of 7,097. Out of the total population: 56,219 (46%) men and 65,997 (54%) women.

Covers the areas of Shumen , Ship, Zabalka, Sukharnoye, Zhilposelok, Village-4, Village-5. The Kherson District of Kherson also includes the Kamyshansky Village Council, which includes 4 settlements: the village of Kamyshany , the village of Kuybyshevo, Petrovsky and Priozernoye.

The ship area is partially located on the right side of the Dnieper River Valley. The landscape of the district is flat, sometimes crossed by beams.
