Geography

The village is located 22 km south of Vladimir and 43 km northwest of the district center of Sudogda .

History

It arose at the end of the XIX century as a settlement at the sickle factory of E.F. Kovalev near the village of the same name . In 1975, the factory was transformed into the Konyaevsky Electromechanical Plant (hereinafter referred to as Svet CJSC ), now the Vladimir branch of Germes group LLC (as of September 4, 2017).

Infrastructure

In the village there is a house of culture, a feldsher-midwife station (now abolished) [6]
