Origin of title
The street was named on May 26, 1970 by the Old Guy that was located here, which has not survived to this day. It ran from Dawn Alley to Yunost Street (at the intersection with today's Veshnyakovskaya Street). The passage of the Old Guy, as well as the neighboring passage of the Small Guy were named after the “Guy” garden located in Kuskovo. There is a version that the name of the passage was given by the serfs from Ukraine , who in the 18th century were transferred by Sheremetyev to the Kuskovo estate (the guy in Ukrainian is a grove ).
