It is located 6 km from the federal highway "Moscow - St. Petersburg" , not far from the Shlina River. From the city of Vyshny Volochyok - 25 km.

The village has 16 streets, about 300 houses. The population according to the 2002 census is 1186 people, 518 men, 668 women.
