Career
Club
Victor Zvunka began playing football at the Mets club. In 1973, the defender moved to the Marseille Olympic , where he played until 1981. As part of the Olympic, Zvunka became the vice-champion of France and the winner of the national cup , played in the matches of the Cup Winners Cup 1976/77 and 2 UEFA Cup draws.
From 1981 to 1983, the defender played for Laval , after which he moved to the Parisian Racing in Division 2 . According to the results of the 1983/84 season, the capital club made it to Division 1 and in the summer of 1984, Viktor Zvunka became the team's playing coach. At the end of the 1984/85 season, the defender ended his career as a player.
Team
Victor Zvunka played the only match for the French national team . On March 26, 1975, in a friendly match with Hungary, the defender left the starting lineup and spent 90 minutes on the field [1] .
Coaching
Under the leadership of Zvunka, “Racing” in the 1984/85 season took the last place in Division 1 and dropped out of Division 2. However, a year later the coach managed to return with the capital's team to the strongest French football league, where Parisians took 13th place in the 1986/87 season . Zvunka left the team at the end of the season and for the next four years worked in Division 2 with the Valenciennes and Niort clubs.
In the summer of 1991, Viktor Zvunka became the head coach of Toulouse and, following the results of the 1991/92 season, the club took 11th place in Division 1. However, after four defeats at the start of the next championship, the coach left the club.
From 1992 to 1998, Zvunka was coached by the Chateauroux club. In 1993, the team under his leadership dropped out of Division 2, but already in the next season returned back, and according to the results of the 1996/97 season, left for Division 1.
The next 2 years, Victor Zvunka again worked with the teams of the second division - “ Nice ” and “ Amiens ”. In 2001, he headed the Swiss “ Lausanne ”, with which he took 6th place in the championship .
From 2001 to 2003, Zvunka headed Laval , and from 2003 to 2005 he again worked with Chateauroux and brought the team to the French Cup final 2003/04 . In 2009, the Zvunka team (this time “ Guingamp ”) again reached the final of the country's cup and won in it over the “ Rennes ” with a score of 2: 1.
In 2010, Victor Zvunka was for a short time the head coach of the Portuguese club Naval , then he worked with Cannes playing in the League Nacional and Saint-Pierre reunion . Since June 2012, he has been the head coach of the League 2 Nim Olympic club.
