Died from an accidental shot during a shooter match.
Creativity
In his novels, which he released under various pseudonyms, I. Beer spoke as a follower of G. Ya. K. von Grimmelshausen . Among his most famous novels are: The Simplician Secular Observer (1677–1679), The Hospital for the Fools (1681), and the dilogy of the novels German Winter Nights and Entertainment Summer Days (1682).
Most of the musical compositions of I. Beer have not been preserved. His holiday mass, “ Missa ursus murmurat ”, has reached us.
