Biography

Born on January 21, 1904 in the village of Sokolovka, Kiev province of the Russian Empire, to the family of a poor peasant. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1929.

After the Great October Socialist Revolution, he was elected chairman of the village committee of the poor , chairman of the village Council of Workers' Deputies , secretary of the party organization, chairman of the collective farm in Grebenkovsky and Popelnyansky districts. After graduating from the Higher Agricultural Communist School, he worked as the director of the regional school for retraining collective farm workers.

Since 1937, G. A. Tkachenko in party work: elected first secretary of the Umansky and Rokityansky district party committees. Then sent to work in Western Ukraine . In October 1939 he was the head of the Provisional Administration of the city of Tarnopol , was elected a deputy of the National Assembly of Western Ukraine , was a member of the Secretariat of the NSZU. November 27, 1939 approved by the second secretary of the Tarnopol city committee of the CPSU (b), and then the first secretary of the Shumsky district committee of the party of the Tarnopol region .

During the Great Patriotic War, G. A. Tkachenko was in party political work in the Red Army . Since August 1941, he fought as a senior instructor of the 4th Division of the 5th Army , from October 1941 - as a senior instructor of the 4th Division of Political Administration of the South-Western Front . He oversaw the transfer of partisan detachments to the rear of the enemy, as well as the selection of personnel for the partisan movement . He took a direct part in the hostilities, including in the Battle of Stalingrad . Then he was the political officer of the 306th guards anti-aircraft artillery regiment of the RGK. He completed the battle path with the rank of major guard in Germany . From 1946 until his retirement for 25 years, Grigory Amvrosievich worked as the first secretary of the Belotserkovsky district committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine of the Kiev region . G. A. Tkachenko died on September 30, 1973 in Kiev, the Ukrainian SSR.
