Biography
Born October 12, 1917 in Skender-Wakuf . George's father is a teacher. She spent her childhood in Bosnia and Herzegovina and graduated from elementary school in the village of Skocic. Soon with her family she moved to Bielina , where she graduated from six classes of a gymnasium. In 1934, after the incident in the gymnasium, high school students were transferred to other schools, and Radoika graduated from the two remaining classes in other schools: the seventh in Sarajevo , the eighth in Shabac (where she passed exams). In 1936 she entered the Technological and Metallurgical Department of the University of Belgrade, then moved to the Faculty of Philosophy.
As a student of the Philip Vishnich Bielinski Gymnasium, she took up revolutionary activities, in 1935 she joined the UCLA. Having entered the university, she became part of the student movement. In 1937 she was admitted to the Communist Party of Yugoslavia. In Bielina and Sarajevo, she was also engaged in political activities, but everything was complicated due to the difficult financial situation. Parents did not understand her beliefs, and Radoyka soon refused their financial assistance, having got a job in Belgrade post in December 1940.
After the invasion of the Third Reich and the occupation of the country at the end of May 1941, Radoyka fled from Belgrade and arrived in Bielina, to her parents. In the month of June, after the arrests began of all those who sympathized with the USSR, she moved to Sarajevo, taking up underground anti-fascist activities there. After a series of regular arrests by anti-fascist ustashi, Radoyka took the post of secretary of the cell in the Bashcharshi district. To avoid being wanted and / or possibly arrested, she had to wear Muslim clothes, change her place of residence and names.
In early September 1941, the police arrested Radoyka: documents were found in her name in the name of Maria Khodak, as well as numerous propaganda leaflets and books on the history of the CPSU. After the arrest, the girl was sent to prison, where after torture she refused to say anything. The court sentenced her to death. The sentence was carried out on September 28, 1941 . She was buried in the cemetery of the National Heroes in the memorial park of Vratsa. June 8, 1945 posthumously awarded the title of People's Hero.
