Protorhyssalinae (lat.) - a subfamily of fossil parasitic riders from the family of braconids . Cretaceous period . North America and Europe . The head is orthognathic. Clypeus is short. Jaws with two teeth. The mandibular palps consist of 6 segments. The veins CU1b and 2m-cu are absent in the anterior wing. The presence of 2-CU veins in the hind wing differs from all other subfamilies of braconids [1] [2] .
