Biography

Born in Gomel . She graduated from the University of Bern (1904). She worked there as a senior teacher of anatomical pathology. In 1898-1903 was the bride of Chaim Weizmann .

In 1925 she emigrated to Eretz Yisrael , becoming one of the first pathologists in the country. Since 1926 she was a professor and headed the Institute of Pathological Anatomy at the Hadassah Hospital . There she founded a medical museum. She taught at the medical faculty of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem , since 1940 - professor emeritus.
