Geography
The city is located in the southern part of Kerman, at an altitude of 395 meters above sea level [1] . Kalehganj is located approximately 312 kilometers south-southeast (SSE) of Kerman , the provincial capital, and 1085 kilometers southeast of Tehran , the capital of the country.
Population
According to the census, in 2006 the population was 11,560 [2] .
