Biography
He began his working life at the age of twelve at the Telegraph Plant [1] .
Since 1920, at Soviet and Komsomol work in Moscow: head of the Housing Registration and Distribution Department of the Moscow City Council's quarterly economy, secretary of the RKSM cell of the Bauman district school of Soviet m party construction, head of the Political Education Department of the Bauman district committee of the RKSM, deputy head of the Political Education Department of Moscow City Committee of the RKSM [2] . In 1924 he joined the RCP (b) [1] [3] . During this period he graduated from the Bauman district school of Soviet and party construction (Moscow) [2] .
In 1925-1926 - Secretary of the RLKSM cell of the Likinsky manufactory (Moscow province). In 1926-1928 - executive secretary of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district committee of the RLKSM (Moscow province), then the representative of the Moscow Committee of the Komsomol in the Moscow Regional Council of Trade Unions. In 1928 - Head of the Department of Labor and Education of the Moscow City Committee of the Komsomol [2] .
In 1928-1930 - the 2nd secretary, then the 1st secretary of the Moscow city committee of the Komsomol [1] . From December 1929 to January 1931 - Secretary and member of the Bureau of the Central Committee of the Komsomol [2] .
Member of the Central Control Commission of the CPSU (b) (1930-1934) [2] .
Since 1931 - at the leading work in the Communist International of Youth (KIM) : Secretary General of the Executive Committee of KIM (1931-1937), at the same time - member of the Presidium (April 1931 - July 1935) and candidate member of the Political Secretariat of the Executive Committee of the Comintern , candidate member of the Executive Committee of the Comintern (since August 1935) [2] [3] .
He was elected a delegate to the 16th Congress of the CPSU (B.) (1930, from the Krasnopresnenskaya Party Organization of Moscow)) [4] , the 17th Party Conference (1932; from the Central Committee of the CPSU (B.) , With an advisory vote) [5] .
Arrested on September 15, 1937. On November 27, 1937, the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR sentenced him to death on charges of sabotage and participation in an anti-Soviet terrorist spy organization; shot the same day [2] . He was buried at the Don cemetery (grave 1) [6] .
Rehabilitated on January 28, 1956 by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR [6] .
