Criticism Reviews
In the USA, the film was never released on home video [2] , but some of its parts were released on VHS and DVD as part of collections or special editions of other Disney films. The reason for this was the extremely ambiguous perception of the film, in which many critics found racist overtones, accusing him of political incorrectness and demonstrating a neglect of black people [3] [4] .
In 2003, the online community of film critics placed the film in 67th place on the list of the best animated films of all time [5] .
Rewards
- In 1948, the film won an Oscar for best music. [6]
