Zorino (until 1946 Poppendorf , German: Poppendorf ) is a village in the Guards urban district of the Kaliningrad region . It is part of the Zorinsky rural settlement .

History
On January 23, 1945, Poppendorf was taken by the soldiers of the 5th Guards Rifle Division under the command of Major General G. B. Peters.
In 1946, Poppendorf was renamed the village of Zorino [3] .
