Content
Club career
Arkadiusz began his career in the reserve team of the Rozvoy club from Katowice , playing in the Third League of Poland [2] . On October 23, 2010, the 16-year-old Milik made his debut in the club’s main squad, scoring 2 goals in a game against Kraseyov, which ended 4-0 in favor of his team. A little later, in November of that year, thanks to his game, he went to see Gurnik from Zabrze .
On July 1, 2011 Milik signed a contract with Gurnik for a period of 1 year. Thus, the club from Zabrze won the fight for the 17-year-old striker, as well as for his teammate, midfielder Wojciech Krol, at such clubs as Reading , Tottenham and Legia [3] [4] . Arkadiusz's debut for the new club took place on July 31 in a match against Shlensk , which ended with a score of 1: 1.
December 17, 2012 Leverkusen Bayer signed a contract with an 18-year-old Pole for a period of 5.5 years [5] .
On August 30, 2013 Milik was rented by Augsburg for one year [6] .
In mid-May 2014, Milik was rented by the Ajax Amsterdam [7] [8] . On April 1, 2015, the Ajax press service announced the signing of a full-fledged contract with Milik until 2019 [9] .
On August 2, 2016, Milik signed a contract with the Italian Napoli . The transfer amount amounted to 32 million euros. The contract is valid until 2021 [10] [11] .
On October 8, 2016, in a match against the Danish national team, he received a rupture of the cruciate ligaments of the left knee [12] . It was expected that Milik would not be able to play until the start of the 2017/18 season, but already at the beginning of February 2017 he was included in the Napoli application for the match [13] . September 24, 2017, in a match against SPAL, he received a rupture of the cruciate ligaments of the right knee [14] .
Team Career
On October 12, 2012, Arkadiusz made his debut for the Polish national team in a match against South Africa . He scored his first goal for the national team on December 14 of that year in a friendly match against the national team of Macedonia , which ended in a 4-1 victory for the Polish national team.
