History
The first mention of a settlement dates back to 1340.
In 1910, 235 people lived in Rippen, in 1933 - 551 people, in 1939 - 581 people.
March 18, 1945 Rippen was taken by the soldiers of the 144th Infantry Division under the command of Colonel N. T. Zorin.
In 1947, Rippen was renamed the village of Sovkhoznoe [3] .
Transport
A bus 117 runs through the village to Kaliningrad.
