History
In 1874 a railroad passed through the village of Solovtsovo (now Novospasskoye). The station was called Novospasskoe after the church that existed in the village. The station belonged to the Syzrano-Vyazemskaya railway (currently refers to the Kuibyshev railway). The station’s facilities at that time consisted of the station building, the luggage storage room, the checkpoints, and the entry and exit stations. [five]
In the early 2000s, the station building was given a modern look by covering the outside with siding, replacing windows and doors with double-glazed windows, as well as replacing the station’s lighting and asphalting at the station square.
