Biography
Giovanni Picolomo entered the Corinthians school at the age of 14. His parents - Alberto and Silvana - divorced, but continued to influence the life of the child, it was thanks to his father, Zhiovani, that he managed to get to the Corinthians and was soon enrolled in a team for players no older than 15 years old. On November 24, 2011, he first got to training with the main team, and a year later - November 26, 2012 - was included in the application for the Club World Cup.
For 2012, Zhiovani managed to play in 10 matches for Timao. He made his debut at the base on April 15, 2012 in the championship of the state of São Paulo in the game against Ponte Preta (Corinthians' away victory 2: 1), substituting in the 80th minute instead of Gilcinho [1] . From August to November of the same year, Jiovani played in nine Serie A matches. He scored his first goal in his professional career on September 9 at the Gremio goal, setting the final result of the match in the 90th minute - the victory of the club from São Paulo with a score of 3: 1 [2] .
At the 2012 Corinthians Club World Cup, Zhiovani did not appear on the field, but also won the tournament. At the end of 2012, it became known that Milan was interested in the future acquisition of Zhiovani. In addition to Brazilian Piccolomo also has Italian citizenship [3] .
