Biography
- He graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the USSR named after K. E. Voroshilov (1970).
- August 1970 - February 1973 - commander of the 75th Guards Tank Division . Major General of the tank forces (12/15/1972) [1] .
- February 1973 - March 1974 - commander of the 30th Guards Army Corps , Vyborg , Leningrad Military District .
- March 1974 - March 1979 - commander of the 11th Guards Army , Baltic Military District .
- March 1979 - October 1984 - First Deputy Commander of the Troops - Member of the Military Council of the Baltic Military District.
- October 1984 - 1988 - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Western Forces for combat training, chief inspector of the group of inspectors of the Joint Strategic Command of the Western Military District.
Honorary citizen of the city of Kaliningrad [2] .
